Our Breeding Program
We are a small kennel and plan to have 1 to 3 litters per year (if Mother Nature cooperates!), but only when we feel we have something of incredible quality that will elevate and improve this breed we love so much. We take great pride in our breeding program and in our breeding stock to ensure health tests are up to date and the absolute best sire x dam (genotypically and phenotypically) have been identified.
Puppies are born in the house, right in the middle of everything ...the dishwasher running, the vacuum going, etc. We feel being in the thick of things starts their socialization and introduction to the world and best helps them to prepare for whatever may come.
Our puppies are raised with both Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) interspersed on days 3 - 16. Both are designed to "jump start" socialization and build confidence. And most importantly, we follow Puppy Culture's protocols to ensure we are raising well balanced, well socialized and happy puppies!

Planning rough and smooth breedings in 2024 as girls come into season (here's where Mother Nature REALLY has a starring role!). If you are interested in a Collie puppy, please contact us to be put on our waiting list and request a puppy questionnaire.
We complete DNA health testing for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), DMS (Dermatomyositis), DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), CN (Gray Collie) & MDR1. You can learn more about these DNA tests on the Resources page under Health Tests. We complete OFA Hip and OFA Elbow x-rays at the appropriate age.
Our companion puppies are sold with a Spay/Neuter contract on AKC limited registration which allows you and your puppy to compete in all AKC events except conformation. Our litters could have Sables, Sable Merles, Tris and Blue Merles in either Rough, Smooth or both, depending on selected sire and dam.

Before going to their forever homes, all our puppies have the following:
Certified Eye Exam ~ all puppies are examined by a Board Certified Canine Ophthalmologist between 8 - 9 weeks
Well Puppy Check ~ puppies visit our local vet before leaving to ensure you are receiving a healthy puppy
Vaccinations ~ all puppies will have age appropriate puppy vaccinations to insure their safety as they go out into the world
AKC registration ~ all registrations are prepaid and we will register your puppy once you have selected a name
Microchipped ~ all puppies will be microchipped and registered with the AKC Reunite program before leaving
Puppy Packet ~ includes all the paperwork you need for your vet & anything additional we feel is important
Ear Training ~ if you are interested in having your puppy’s ears taped to ensure the correct tip of the ear we can start that process here and help you along the way as needed
