Resources
The phrase "scientia potentia est" is a Latin phrase meaning "knowledge is power", commonly attributed to Sir Francis Bacon. I truly believe knowledge is power and when you know more, you can do more when it comes to keeping your beloved Collie happy and healthy! The resources below are intended to provide you with information you may have known but forgotten, may not have known or the information may have changed over time since you purchased your first Collie.

EAR TRAINING
To tip or not to tip ...that is the question! And I am of course referring to your Collie puppy's ears! My first two Collies had prick ears (stood upright) despite my best efforts of using every method I found on the Internet. It is a very personal and individual decision and it takes time, effort, energy, diligence, lots of products and ideally, having a way to restrain your puppy, like on a grooming table in a harness (at first) attached to a grooming arm. Two of the products that helped me successfully tip later Collies ears are no longer available. So, the entire fancy is "making do" with what we can find that is as "alike" as possible. Here are some helpful resources if you decide you want to go this route. And of course, I'm here to help!
